Curacao Visa (Landing Permit) Requirements
1. Passport Copy
- Copy of the passport must be current, valid, unexpired
- If multiple nationalities, copy of all passports needed
2. Visa Processing Fees
- Visa processing fee is $600 USD
- Visa processing fees must be paid to the government of Curacao
3. Birth Certificate
- The student must provide an official copy of the birth certificate that meet the following criteria:
- The official birth certificate copy must be apostilled by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
- The official birth certificate copy must not be older than 1 year
- The police clearance letter must meet the following criteria:
- The Police Clearance Letter must be less than 3 months old
- The Police Clearance Letter must be from the last place of residence
5. Bank Statement
- A bank statement is required by the immigration of Curacao to know that you have sufficient financial means to support yourself financially during your stay in Curacao. The immigration office requirements are one the followings:
- The student must provide his or her personal bank account statement showing at least $7000 USD.
- The students personal bank can issue a letter stating that the student is receiving at least $600 USD per month.
- If the student does not have the sufficient means to financially support himself/herself then a sponsor or financial guarantor must provide a letter (affidavit) stating that the sponsor or financial guarantor is financially responsible for the student’s stay on the island. The parent or sponsor also must send their bank statement showing at least $7000 USD per child. Also, the student needs to prove that he or she can receive the money on the island by either showing their own bank statement or bank statement stating that the student can withdraw from his parent account or proof of parent with son or daughter joint account.

6. Visa Application Form
- The student must accurately complete this form to the best of their ability

7. Student Statement
- This is a one page from that verifies the student’s personal information.

8. Student Authorization Letter
- This form authorizes the university staff member to process the visa application from on behalf of the students in Curacao.
- The student must sign and date this form with blue pen (ink)

All these documents, form, and paper copies must be uploaded on the application portal on NYMU website.
Students are advised to bring all original documents and submit to the admission office when they physically come to the campus after admission formalities are done.
